Vietri welcomes its visitors with a mixture of respect and elegance, almost apologizes because
it feels caught between the splendor of the Amalfi Coast and the city of Salerno, but that’s the charm suspended between the sublime and the graceful, between holiday and a normal life, between a past that comes up at every  corner  of the street and modernity never definitively accepted. Here there is the greatest beach of the Amalfi Coast, but Vietri doesn’t sound a  bathing place because is well known for  the tradition of the works of pottery and weaving.
Because of its location is easily reached, here  starts one of the most spectacular routefor the lovers of trekking of all the Amalfi Coast, the Path of the Gods (Sentiero degli Dei), which leads to Punta Campanella in front of Capri. Walking in this path up there at altitude, is like seeing the world from the moon, a beautiful spectacle, with the sea that accompanies you as  until they become two: the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno.
